Founded in 2015 by an experienced, Wall Street-trained financial and operational team, Cedar Grove Capital leverages its vertically integrated operating structure, and disciplined screening process to deliver superior risk-adjusted returns for investors and partners. 

Since inception, Principals of Cedar Grove Capital have invested ~$600M in market rate multi-family assets, and successfully exited numerous A, B, and C- class projects across 5 states, delivered net annual returns to  LP's, with hold periods from 1 day, to 5 years.

Aaron heads the CGC Team and oversees all deal sourcing, underwriting, and operations.

Prior to CGC, Mr. Gorin spent 10 years on Wall Street as an Equity Analyst and Venture Capitalist at Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch. Aaron has been featured on CNBC, Bloomberg, and other venues for his research and analysis. Aaron holds a BA and MA in Economics from Cornell University. Aaron lives in New York with his wife and 6 children and is active in several local non-profits, including those that provide supportive housing for U.S. military veterans.

Steve Levitz is a seasoned real estate owner and operator, with 20 years of hands-on management experience across all real estates sectors.

Mr. Levitz’s experience is considerable; he has managed a sizable portfolio that included class A-B-C-D urban and suburban multi- family, as well commercial, retail, and hospitality properties in the New York Tri- state area and on the US East Coast. Mr. Levitz holds a BA from Queens College and a Masters in Clinical Social Work from Yeshiva University.

Michael Nagi works for CGC on all aspects of investment and asset management.

Mr. Nagi has over 15 years of experience working with private equity funds, hedge funds and institutional investors on business development, risk, portfolio management, and operations. Prior to CGC, Michael worked at Bloomberg LP on the Alternative Investor Desk connecting investors and fund managers seeking capital. Michael has helped to establish multiple funds including being one of the earliest team-members of Blackstone’s GSO Capital.
